I had a feeling dissident would be produced in much lesser quanitity than say mirror mirror or abyss since it takes so long to age

i dont even know exactly what to say, this shit was extremely good
im clearly too big on smokey beers, but the bourbon in this really matches it and makes it clearly unsettling

Never thought I'd see/hear these words coming from me...

I just ordered 2 oak barrels from a distillery in New York.
One of them housed bourbon for 4 years the other was a double-use barrel that aged rye whiskey in it first and apple brandy in it second.

I'm thinking barleywine or old ale will go into the bourbon barrel and a stout or strong ale into the apple brandy barrel.

how much did it cost ofc and what size

10 gallons

so im gonna have to keep a close eye on them to make sure they dont over-oak since they will have some serious surface area contact

they were $91 a piece and i actually up'd my order to 2 bourbon and 1 brandy

A toilet was started on BA where they were announcing how many cases were left and what number in the "call line" they were at. A guy here in PA was #8 on the list and they projected enough cases to fill 60 orders if everyone bought the limit. Last time I looked they were up to call # 112 lol
