So now I call this local prolly junk homebrew store tomorrow and hope for tubing or go to home depot check for tubing/nipples
If I get nowhere I waste a few days in which I could finally be bottling/waxing bottle again

took a gravity reading on the belgian
I think the last time I checked it (prior to adding amalyse) it was stalled at 1.032-1.034, now it is at 1.028 which is like 9.6% abv
i dont know if i should start to cold condition now or let it ride for another couple of weeks...im leaning towards waiting 2 more weeks and seeing if it drops any lower
the sample i drank this time around is clearly as sweet but it's hard to judge without having a side by side comparison, smells exactly like what i was shooting for

Bottled the export stout that was aged on vanilla beans and oak cubes. It tastes VN1, can't wait for it to be carbed in 2 weeks.
My Brett version of Berliner weisse was a flop, hardly any acidity. I'm thinking about rebrewing it this weekend and doing fresh wort on top of it

many beers received from scott, awesome stuff, glad to try all of them (i still have some left ofc)
your belgian strong dark was outstanding. as i said its a newer style for me but i really liked it.
had your ris friday. one question, is it supposed to be an extremely hi carb beer? the flavor was good, no sourness or funk, but very high carb. it didnt gush or anything, but i had to poor slowly and stop a few times, and that was to get about the first 1/3 into a tulip. the flavor was ofc high carb, but i could tell it was a very tasty beer behind the carb.
other highlights: bells two-hearted ale, best brown, cherry stout (i read adams review of this beer and it was spot on, i expected a stout with a cherry flavor and i got a fruit beer that was black.. good anyway just different), xmas ale, hell hath no fury, 3rd coast, with expedition stout still untried yet. end result: bells makes good beer, 2 hearted and hell hath no fury stealing the show so far.
great lakes: xmas ale, edmond fitzgerald, nosferatu. all very good, EF and nosferatu both outstanding stuff.
other notables: brooklyn monster ale, two brothers cane and able, founders breakfast stout, second 2 hearted and expedition stout still to be consumed.
many thanks m8.
