@Dan, Joe, Gary or anyone else who might be seriously interested.

If I was to score 2 "more" tickets to Darklord day. Would you be interested in attending? They sold out in like 15 minutes when they went on sale (Dan can im a huge faggot this) and there has been quite a backlash over it and the illegal resale etc. A guy I know in Virginia got 2 tickets to attend with his girlfriend and now he cannot go. All he wants in return is 3-4 bottles of darklord which he will pay for. Hypothetically speaking, if the "price" is split between the 2 tickets, you only have to give up 2 of the X amount of bottles that each person is limited to being allowed to buy. It could be anything, last year it was like 6 per ticket, this year it's per person so might me 10 or 12? Maybe less donno.

DLD is April 30th in Munster IN.

got my first growler today, the place i got it from had bottles of dark lord (already drank) high up on a shelve and when i asked the guy if he had any to sell he just laughed at me; cool beer store is fucking cool - hole in the wall that serves beers on taps, has some decent selection, also has an outdoor picnic sort of area with cornhole and other games

http://beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/15280/33336

its better than those ratings IMO

also ready to get back into top dog beer drinker status; willing to purchase rare beers from around the country

ive completely given up on being ISO any beer that cannot be cellared for a year or more. as much as i love ipas and fresh hoppy beers, i dont even want them if they are bottled. if i want a fresh hoppy beer, ill go get one on tap somewhere and clearly have to worry about it being 6 months old or a bad/infected bottle

last steel reserve consumed circa 2000
i have no recollection of the flavor, it was .99 for the 22 oz can or w/e, 3 of us each got 2 on the way home from the bar (along with a "burrito the size of your head" from a local spot that would have 40 people in line when the bars closed)

good times

Only one place in this town sells it, going into nearby cities it is rarely even found in the ghettos, where it ends up being $3+ for a 40.

I kegged my imperial IPA last night along with another stout.

The IPA tastes like hopslam but smells like something else that is familiar but I can't quite put my finger on it. In a way I should be happy how good it turned out but I'm pretty fucking pissed that this was an original recipe I wrote and it tastes like a commercial product.

Nope, consider it a beer payment in advance for other things being released in your area that I would like to have. See also: http://www.brewbound.com/news/2011/oakshir...tm_medium=email

in 3 days i shall place my groupon coupon order for home brew starter kit, a free ingredient kit (irish stout, amber red, or something else... was thinking amber as that has less chance of being meh but :donno:) and a bottle opener, valued at $15!

either way in about 2 weeks i will be fucking up my first home brew batch
