i have no idea, it has been this fucking strange attraction i have had for like a year now. i think its just so weird that something aged in oak has a chemical reaction that creates subtle vanilla flavors and mellows even the most brutal beers out and makes them dangerously drinkable.
i have to hold myself back from clearly aging all of my homebrew on cubes, chips or oak spirals...its a sick addiction.
