i think its what a dipa would have been before a dipa was just a vehicle for the most hops as possible
this was bottled on 4/7, so its clearly new or old yet
all in all i think its a very "true to style" dipa from my limited experiences

2 breweries in that town currently have a Berliner Weisse on tap. I'm clearly even sure if they fill growlers. They are small enough or maybe just clearly popular that these Berliner Weisse were clearly added to BA yet.

I gotta look back on google to see what their names are again

i actually sent an email to both of the breweries the other day inquiring as to whether the berliner weisse was still on tap and if they would fill growlers

the one place didnt respond, but the one that did told me that they do clearly fill growlers with their sour beer but if I wanted one, an exception could be made

Normally we do clearly sell growlers of our sours due to small stock. However, because of your situation we can do one for you. If your friend is able to make it down, have him/her tell the bartender that Nick said it was OK. We are on our last keg so I would expect it to be gone very soon. You may want to have your friend call before making the trip down. We are brewing up another batch to be released late July when the weather will be hot so this gives you another opportunity to try the beer. This will be a double batch that should last through August.

side note, i saw the bottle you added to your wants list. i will try my best to find one of those again to send your way (dan might be able to snag you one from the beer stop which is close to his place if they still have it) we are pushing it though, that beer is over a year old and was a limited release. i think it is doable though because the price on that bitch keeps people from buying more than 1

Yeah, anything you can't get out there that I have access to I will gladly send your way. I saw one a few weeks ago and thought it was interesting that they were still around. It's a very unique bottle size. Its corked and caged but only like 500 ml, very deceiving.

you dont understand. i live in an apartment complex, they wont just leave it on the door step. and you cant ask them to hold it at a terminal until a failed delivery has been made (which is fucking retarded and ups does this no problem). i get to pick this up on tuesday.

its just one more reason fedex is inferior to ups, and it amazes me they are still in business tbh. we deal with them at work quite a bit and they are fucking horrible with their little quirks.

and i love the residential delivery at 8 am

the other "only with fedex" part is sometimes i can reschedule for the same day to pick up from their terminal, other times its like i just asked for their home address so i can shit in their front porch.

going to call the local terminal when i get back to work. i know for a fact that package will be there tonight, maybe they will set it out for me ater 6 (when their drivers generally get back at night)
