Just read on beer advocate that a place in New York had cases of 2008 Old Stock that were "taking up too much room." They sold the cases for $12...

I think I paid that much for a 4 pack.

it is good, but when it is fresh it tastes a little too over the top with the alchol and burnt grain/hop bitterness

time spent in the bottle makes this guy go world class

oak aged millenium barleywine (from 2006)
barrel aged stout (2010)


ok, that makes sense. i remembered there being a no longer made barley wine but couldnt locate the exact one on ba i wondered if i remembered wrong and only referenced the stout i certainly remembered.

the barleywine > the stout though, though both were very good
