Garrett Oliver can blow me. The man is intelligent as fuck and is the single most experience person of our time at masterfully pairing beer with food but I totally disagree wih his opinion on matters such as growler usage.

The last time I drank Molson Canadian, I bought it in a barn (that was converted to a liquor store) and drank it in the parking lot before the release party for The Acacia Strain's "Continent".

its gonna be a home brew consumption kinda night

starting it off with bourbon quad
then a friends rye ipa/pumpkin hybrid ale
and finishing with an apple brandy barrel aged imperial stout that i bottled on saturday because I cant wait any longer to try it

Any good breweries I should check out in/around Tampa? I may start indulging in this whole beer thing a little more now that I don't have rent to pay.

their best offering, its actually really good on a "a little different than normal" scale

zero hype my friend, they are the real deal

when their popularity exploded, they pretty much crushed my dreams. 750ml bottles of their limited stuff use to sit on our shelves at $7.50 to $9 a piece regardless of what it was. now they are closer to $30 and you have to be on a waiting list to buy any of them

i met the owner and the head brewer 2 years ago and they autographed a bottle of their batch 1 stout for me (yeah go ahead and laugh, im that much of a nerd.)
