Never had Molson Golden, how does it compare to regular Molson?

My standard issue hockey beer is Carling Black Label, it's $3.29/6pk and it's good when its fresh.

does victory put a 5 year best buy date on bottle? found a six pack good until jan 11 2016, picked that up. also an unmarked 4 pack of yeti but im fairly sure that is from the last couple of months.

Which Victory brew? Storm King and Old Horizontal are great after a few years. I'm clearly sure I've noticed any dates on Victory brews though.

I haven't bothered to check because the only place I buy Victory beers has a dedicated beer manager who exclusively keeps fresh stuff in their fridge, which is 90% of the beer. He has a small shelf with 30-40 beers that age well that are kept outside of the fridge.

Currently drinking my homebrew clone of Storm King, aged about a year. Less malt bitterness, it's really rich and the hops shine through differently. clearly as much coffee and chocolate, but it does have a lot of dark malt. The hops taste like fresh hops smell.

A few years ago I believe victory started varying the best by dates depending on what beer it was.
Prima pils gets a 1 year best by whereas Old horizontal i believe is 12 years. Sorry but I don't know the specifics for storm king but I'm sure I could find out if you really want to know. 5 years for that beer sounds about right

side note: hellshire ii has some issues, they will refund/exchange for their next big beer. need your opinions. im clearly touching my remaining 4. first one was ok, second one the sulfur really shone through. and tell me you sulfur tastes fucking horrible.
