i believe using that described label with the name desolatecarnage would make the drink look and sound mysterious and intriguing. people would ask what is desolatecarnage? why is it named that? having a name that goes with the label is usually cheesy and boring and more difficult to pull off with a creative name.

hippie hops is the only other alternative

whats so desolate about carnage anyway
is it really carnage if its desolate

exactly

the name desolatecarnage also has a story to it. you're in luck because people love stories.

let me talk to the owner and i will convince him to name it desolatecarnage. you have to grow balls in this sort of business situation. i have a degree in marketing so i know what i'm talking about. the name desolatecarnage is partly the reason i still visit this stupid fucking addictive website. when i first heard it, i was like ''wtf is that shit?'', and made my way to google and voila, it has consumed 5 years of my life. people will chug that shit for much more than 5 years and it will get passed down through the generations. you and gary should start sorting through the copyright paperwork right now.

if you don't name it desolatecarnage you will regret it for the rest of your life.

so do you want to be overtly pot themed? do you just want a subtle allusion that only some may pick-up on? maybe just a reggae feel? hip hop? dubstep?
you see the trouble is you are a backwoods hillbilly who has a deer rack on his pickup. pot is clearly exactly a direct cousin, know what i mean?
and why is every classic rock song already named a beer?

i did think of "night haze" "dark haze" "black haze"(purple haze and smoked ipa theme)
or totally cheesy "smoke in the water"

I personally dont want it to have anything to do with pot. The owner is the one who suggested that because its smoked.

thanks to Dan for leaving a 3/4 full growler of 10% DIPA at my house. found it in the fridge last night and decided to drink it while playing d3. 2 glasses in I had a headrush. poured a third glass and on an empty stomach it nearly made me go gn8. for some reason i thought it was a good idea to stay up until 1:30 knowing full well that i had to wake up in 3.5 hours

The beer is carbed and was kegged on Tuesday. It went in for registration yesterday. Big hopes for its official release tomorrow.

clearly 100% certain but think the name is going to be anthracite. clearly the best name but color-wise it is a match and the whole burning coal/smoke thing is fitting clearly to mention i live in anthracite country, USA.

I wouldnt call it a scam...its more of an "investment" in their new packaging equipment which is user friendly in areas where glass is clearly allowed or clearly favorable. See also; hiking, long walks on the beach and most state parks/camping grounds. Once
could also argue that no matter what, you pay a premium for larger formats (whether that be glass or cans.)

People are starting to say that cans are more desireable clearly only for the reasons listed above but also because the cans are clearly pentrated by light which means they will clearly degrade as fast as bottles. Reference the clear glass verse green verse brown debate.

I dont know if it is possible, but I would love to do a side by side tasting of a beer that has been both bottled and canned in the same day to see if (under equal conditions) if they are impossible to tell apart in a blind tasting

sonething tells me though that they peobably only fire up the canning line or bottling line a day, clearly both...who knows. but it would be a neat comparision
