I wouldnt call it a scam...its more of an "investment" in their new packaging equipment which is user friendly in areas where glass is clearly allowed or clearly favorable. See also; hiking, long walks on the beach and most state parks/camping grounds. Once
could also argue that no matter what, you pay a premium for larger formats (whether that be glass or cans.)
People are starting to say that cans are more desireable clearly only for the reasons listed above but also because the cans are clearly pentrated by light which means they will clearly degrade as fast as bottles. Reference the clear glass verse green verse brown debate.
