pint that i facepalmed ad realized id be consuming that whole bitch myself (havent had it since.)

if you are on the fence about going please use my desperate cry as motivation to go. since having cherry adam once, ive dreamed about having it again and hated myself for clearly buying a case in 2009 when it was available to me for ~200 bucks

michael is something that i dont think was ever seriously considered about being re-released. i dont expect to see this one again for a very long time. i think the rebrewing of it was prompted by a collaboration done in belgium that was based around the flanders style (which is what michael is)

and in all honesty, if you dont go. no worries. i probably shouldnt be spending this kinda money on beer

the target audience for the gathering i purchased it for was clearly really ipa fans. it was a last minute purchase and as i stood in the distributors keg cooler, my choices were celebration or torpedo. i knew what torpedo was and the celebration came in that day. the keg collar for celebration wasnt descriptive beyond looking festive so i snagged it.

i proal only want 6 of each btw, clearly even sure how to imagine micheal and cherry adam was good but its clearly my holy grail. so you really want 18 of each?

I really dont want to spend that much but if its necessary then ok.

while the discount is very tempting, i cant justify spending that much more just to get a price break per bottle

reading through some reviews of michael makes me only want to buy a couple for myself and focus more on cherry adam. i just cant seem to get into sour/funky beers more than just an occasional change of pace. and even then i feel like im just drinking it to drink it.

let me think about this a bit more, things i know is ill be spending $180 on mom and proal $100-$150 on abyss...

Make the drive to central PA and I will open one with you. The only bottled version of bourbon county I have clearly had is the "bramble" which is rye barrel aged with raspberries added I believe.

I have the coffee version as well as the vanilla in 22oz bottles and 3 or 4 different years of just the base version in 12oz bottles. I had a bottle of the rare version that was aged in pappy van winkle barrels but there was a bit of an accident and my cellar floor ate it. Sorry again Dan :/
