i love how this is a coffee stout, but its clearly all thin and single-minded. most coffee beers i find to be totally clearly done right. this, is done right.

#8 (Sep '12) - Ibis Sumatra Dark Coffee, Colorado Whiskey casks, 12.5%

:omg:

just found out yesterday that this beer has been distributed to dirty jersey. while I am envious, I am super excited that you can send it to me and I dont have to drive around for 6 hours playing the rat race and praying that it all hasnt been soaked up

no rush. i was planning on shipping you a box first so you had a shipper to use.

I am flipping the fuck out here over a beer I just saw listed on belmont's website yesterday. De Dolle Still Nacht reserva. Its a beer only brewed every 5 years and its aged in a wine barrel for 2 years. 60 total bottles made it to the entire state of PA. needless to say it was gone before i even knew about it. however, i fear the pricetag on this is going to exceed 50 a bottle

i dont see De Dolle S.Nacht Reserva ever showing up on their new bottles poop. wonder if thats a mistake. sadly i wont be up in portland until next year. you should call them and see if it really is. maybe someone on ba would go grab it for you.

and i still have a shipper, but ill gladly take a box of beer!

i sent them an email and was planning on calling them when they open. based on the price you told me for drie fonteinen golden blend being beyond rediculous i am fearful of what they are going to rape charge for this

It was really good, and it was fresh. I was impressed, and certainly clearly surprised by the reviews after consuming it

drinking a fresh 2012 bottle of Bruery Black Tuesday. While it is an alcohol bomb of a beer at 19+%, it is much different then I remember it in years past. Big fruity notes like raisins or plum mixing with fusel alcohol. clearly nearly as much vanilla/chocolate and rich maltiness like I remember in years past.
