Don't get me wrong...I know hotd is in high demand and this is a limited brew aged for over a year but seriously fuck that. I wanted a case for aging and trading but I refuse to buy more than a bottle or two at that price

split it with others? you have a plethora of east coast beer fags on BA that would proal split that with you. that site is like 80% east coast.

No reason to take a risk and get stuck with bottles when I can just get singles. I honestly thought it would be $140 clearly $240

HAHAHA

out of nowhere I get this email:

Greetings Adam, we acquired 3 bottles of Sam Adams Triple bock and remembered the comments you stated last time you were here regarding the vintages from 1994, 1995 and 1997. If you are interested, we will keep these bottles behind the counter for your next arrival. If clearly interested in them please let us know and we will make them available to the public for purchasing. Depending on when you make your next stop and whether or clearly you want them, perhaps you can describe for us how you can tell which vintage from the rest?

Let me get out my monocle and pretend like it's very difficult to see the inkjet stamp on 94 and 95 that isn't there on the 97

just remembered i had a dream last night that i accidentally opened the black butte and was instantly disappointed in myself

i tasted it and it was like the best thing that taste buds could possibly conjure in dream state

then i found a cork and corked it back up (i dont own any corks)

Weekend recap

Friday night met Dan and drank 2x 24 ounce cans of swill: 1x steel reserve (lol high gravity lol) and a colt 45. Got home and bottled homebrew...shared a growler of ghandi bot with a m8 and the equivalent of about 10 homebrews that were "overflow" from filling the bottles. Got finished with the bottling and decided it would be a good idea to go to the bar for a few franziskaner hefeweizen on draft.

Saturday woke up and had a black ipa called Capt'n Krunkles which is a side brewing project by Terrapin. Drove to manheim to drop off my bottles of homebrew and then visited a brewpub that is supposedly the smallest in the nation. The dude basically brews the same as me except he has to brew every single day in order to keep up with the demand. Had 3 of his brews and some of the most amazing smoked bbq and ribs then went home. The wife wanted to go out to the bar to see my friend's band play..... so again had a few franziskaner's on draft.

Sunday woke up and cooked lonch for my parents. Drove to my brother's house to share some homebrew and drink a few sam adams seasonals. Got home and now im doing fridge cleanup on Pale Ale's that I think have been in my fridge since February...

@Joe

I found a place that is doing a charity auction in portland.

They are selling a 10 year set of doggie claws barleywine 2001 through 2010
abyss vertical from 2007-2009
original jubel from 2000 and 2010
black buttes of varying years
a bottle of dissident from 2008

I almost fell off my chair when I saw what people have offered already. The box containing the original jubel and abyss/dissadent is over $350

Deschutes

65/35 split of the money whoever pays the lesser amount has to make travel arrangements to the other person

and yes, all beers consumed in one weekend

On one hand I like where this conversation is going. On the other, I already owe you a rediculous amount of money to which we need to make a resolution of either another package of beer or I send you paypal funds because it's driving me nuts. I want to square up with you so I can make more requests :B
