I'm losing my taste for wood-aged beers, I liked the beer but it felt bittered by the oak flavor even though it wasn't too strong. I would like it a lot of it didn't involve oak :(

Style is listed as "Barrel Aged Brown" so I'd assume that's the oaked version. Wasn't very hoppy, but I don't really like the taste of oak.

That was also the last of the beers I had and the stovepipe porter was much smoother, I'll need to try the Brooklyn again.

I'm sitting here trying to guestimate individual bottle prices to determine if buying a lot is outrageous

cherry Adam = ~12
matt = ?? only released once and never again cuz of anniversary (I think one sold on the bay of e for $40)
vintage claws = undetermined incrimentally upwards in age

with only 1 bottle of each I wouldn't know WTF to do. A vertical tasting in one day? One a day for comparison? Drink every other year and save the rest?
