so yeah today i was cycling downtown
some chick was waiting at the traffic lights to go to the right with her bicycle and she basically blocked the entire street
i thought to myself "okay that's cool, i'll just go past her over the lawn"
turns out there were some thin ropes/wires set about knee high around the little patch of lawn and i somehow stumbled on it and got some rope burn marks on my knees like 5 inches in length
would've been cool if whoever set this "trap" would have put up a sign or something
it's weird because it's clearly even anyone's yard, just a silly patch of grass next to a parking lot or something

ive had the good fortune to poop before the morning shower for the better part of the last month

One day off, yard work and smoking a brisket

using uber rush for the first time so i don't have to trek to midtown

got some cleaning work lined up for the semester as well, don't have to take any loans so that's good

i said a few years back that i had 5 years to be an alcoholic. lately ive just been feeling unhealthy. so for now im done drinking. later on ill see if i can moderately reincorporate it back, but first and foremost is to quit and get into better shape. 40 is fast approaching , and i will clearly be a duplicate of my parents.

mowed my lawn
replaced all the screens that were broken

sounds like you've given this some thought and you're properly motivated. gl ofc, my dad was an alcoholic for as long as i knew him and i don't want anyone to go through that or make anyone suffer from the consequences of one's alcoholism.

im being a bit hyperbolic. im clearly a true alcoholic. ive never sacrificed my lives responsibilities so i could drink. but i do have a problem with moderation. i just want to improve my overall wellbeing before i wake up one day and its too late.
