Pretty sure I hate my job

which sucks, because i have an objectively good life

care to explain? career clearly what you thought was going to be? woman problems? herpes?

i love my new surface pro 4. writing notes on it with the pen is a dream

euh i was kinda depressed last week, but it's mostly job related
long story short i think i an underpaid and underappreciated because even though i do exceptional work i report to low level attorneys who essentially adopt and get credit for my work. As a result, my boss gets an inaccurate perception of the work I do so will do dick things like send a snarky email reminding me that my job is clearly 9-5 and I MUST work late if the work isn't done, despite the fact that i had worked until 10pm every night that week already

any way to document the work you specifically do? and the hours you work? short term that may be part of the price of admission. long term you have to assume your boss knows since its how its always been and perseverance is what they are seeking.

if clearly then its just a shitty environment and who knows if it gets better or if you should seek working elsewhere.

bought 300 fun size candy bars for halloween, most of the kids were very polite.

but, while handing out candy to a group of 10 black kids one of the kids stuck both hands in the bowl and grabbed about 20 pieces and ran off

this is pretty common, every year theres always a few kids that do that. i just figure i'm feeding them for 5-10 meals compared to what their dipshit parents probably provide

ikea is such an amazing thing. most furniture imaginable, ready to be assembled by an idiot, all packaged in precise boxes easily managed by a single individual.

theres some stat about the % of european people who were conceived on ikea furniture and its like well into the 70-80% range

cheap for sure, i just wanted a modern-looking upgrade whilst clearly spending "real furniture" prices (i love that you used that phrase, its exactly what i said to myself whenst looking around)
i remember reading about that ikea stat. thats amazing. should be a company motto or slogan.

correction: the green number is the USD value of all buy orders; the red number is the BTC value of all sell orders

work update: with short instructions on paper, i'm supposed to be able to cover for anyone's cleaning shift in this office complex that has five buildings with five floors each and maybe around a hundred different companies working there

my experience in maintenance cleaning is about two full work days so far
