It's really tough to deal with because they are in total denial. They lie to everyone's face and say they don't even have/use the drugs even though it is painfully and abundantly obvious. One friend took the pills away when my friend was in a stupor last night, yet the friend will still say to our face point blank that they don't have any and we are all being crazy.

ive seen it too. exactly as you say, they are a wreck of human life until they actually want help. and there is often nothing you can do to help either, until they want help all you can do is let them hit the rock bottom that they need to hit.
