I said a douche bag. Perhaps if he would have shed some reasonable light about the situation, aside from a "X, Y, or Z?" post, and laid out some information we could have formed a more appropriate opinion.

You on the other hand have presented the situation, are no longer "best m8's" with the the girls ex, and have been involved with her for a long time. He on the other hand probably has some high school friend whose girlfriend is horny and wants to get back at her ex by hooking up with his friend. The situations are drastically different.
