In all honesty, if you didn't have the hookup 5-6 years ago during Runescape Classic it's not worth your time, espically starting out fresh.
Fun = a pretty good account, and to get one skill 99 can take months, and at 99 you feel like you accomplished something and its fun then to get more.
The quests are one of the funnest parts, really, good for people who get bored leveling.

Gary stopped playing around a month or two ago due to issues with faggots in our IRC.

Leveling is good, but about half of the skills require some kind of money you make from other skills or supplies from other skills.
