6870 might be their mid/low end of the new sets, but its years beyond anything that ive ever used or will need for the next few years

i might not get 2, i might just go with 1 and save the extra 250 or spend it on better accessories

whenever i solo que (again its generally early sat/sun) i get brazilians or frenchies, at least one person is connecting and leaving multiple times a game, and at least one person has no idea how to play. and not that they die a lot, or dont understand their char. its that they die multiple times to creeps/towers, they are always off by themselves getting 3v1'd, and they avoid all team fights so they can farm.


it evens out but games are crazy streaky, won like 8 in a row a few days ago

go ahead and talk to bobdave about how well sli works


That was because I didn't know shit about WoW and sli @ the time
WoW is not GFX intensive, sli will not help WoW run any smoother.
WoW is like 80% processor based.

Also 2x 6870's are NB, the 6870 is just under the gtx 470 (which is what i am going to get in my new pc this month)
IF you are only going to play wow and LOL sli is proal NN
but if you want to play FPS's and shit like the new COD sli(crossfire) is VN

still doing some research, might switch to 6870 because it is a newer card and more room for driver improvements
also 6870's are better in crossfire than 470's in sli iirc

update, proal going w/ 470 still, 5xx series is coming out soon so prices will drop on 470 if i want to 2way or 3way sli in the future.
also, 470's OC'd will beat 6870's OC'd
