from what i saw, black cleavers anti-armor made a huge difference, since nocturne attacks so fast and with his speed/fear has guaranteed hits on things, the armor reduction goes into effect very quick, and you get your innate hits for boss damage

you're providing mathematical scenarios without the actual mathematical analysis (#s) to back up your argument

"increasing your life span by 50%" isn't fact, it's opinion

it's also highly dependent upon the enemy team focusing you and your team properly shielding you (and/or you initiating after your tank, etc.)

ie - team of idiorts : id rather be able to take down 1-2 champions before i die since my team has no clue how to tank and initiate team fights instead of buying a defensive item and get ganked and die while my team is clueless to what is going on

babbys first karthus

went revive/flash and 9/4/17 masteries

farmed my balls off

in the final team fight when i got focused, entire team died in my lay waste + ult, we aced them and only i died

ofc i revived and with the speed boost from mastery i was back to their base right away (with 3k life and 500+ ap)

also got death quints - my only non revive death i was dead for 20 seconds, post 40 minute mark
