when you play the game of leagues, you win or you rage

not really. ive lost more games than ive won since i started playing the other day, and only a few of them were rage-worthy losses

it seems the average player is a lot more knowledgeable of the game than before

renekton on sale for 440 rp, i have 1300 rp somehow from before so purchased him

played first game renekton, was solo top against poppy, enemy bottom got first blood and killed ezrael about 4 times

was able to crush poppy, double killed vs a gank attempt of level 4 poppy + level 5 jax against level 6 renekton, steamrolled after that

also that was another game that looks more lopsided by the kill counts than it actually was. it was 21/15 kills when i was at 8/0/x, bottom lane was getting its ass kicked

once me and akali started chaining triple kills it got out of hand, fast

that has to be the best k/d/a ive had since early lol when vladimir could 1v5 teams after some early kills

got a jungle build and masteries set for olaf and renekton, soon as i get a game or two experience with one of them ill jump into ranked contests

its a pain in the ass getting into a game right now, theres like 4 queue disbands, and then 2-3 queue dodges per successful game launch. and most of the time the queue dodges are with 1 second before the game starts

im 0/4 against enemy teams that have a blitzcrank

pretty neat to see you playing lol again and not having the solo mid trade kills mentality

also, since i learend that ranked no longer has elo kind of makes me want to get back into the game and learn at least 1 other role besides support

when 25-50% of the players wanted to do a boring meta-game strategy every game, it was okay to play differently

when 95% of the players want to do boring meta-game strategy, you kind of have to go along with it

and like i said before, the average competance level seems much higher, or the matchmaking is truly better in that all 10 people in the game have similar skill, instead of 3 good players, one brazilian 12 year old, and one crybaby griefer, per team

its like starcraft 2 where you play x amount of placements, get placed in one of 5? tiers, and you can only go up in a tier only by being at the top of your current group for a while

im actually really looking forward to playing the placements to see where i end up, in starcraft i always got sat in the highest you can get straight out of placement so there wasnt any suspense

ya, i think its like starcraft now

it adds some more depth to the ranking/achievement too, even if its only a color instead of a number

found out that im really bad at jungling today, although of the two champions i tried (olaf and renekton), neither of them are really designed to be junglers


and more people have map awareness. people actually buy wards in public random queue, every game

and i dont mean by playing in game, ive burned that bridge many moons ago, just talking strictly about ideas, etc

im pretty sure the biggest problem is just unfamiliarity with the current game/champions/common playstyles

do you prefer farming jungle, counter jungling, or aggressive ganking? based on your old playstyle i'd assume you want to be super aggro

shyvanna is absolutely amazing, by far and away my favorite jungler for numerous reasons, otherwise, xin chao is also great

and i would still play games with you if you dont do the crybaby im going afk im leaving bullshit, which youve agreed to about 5 times then disregarded and did the same shit

shyvana is basically a renekton with a little bit of ap/range ability instead of cc?

Not as durable, more sustain damage than burst. Very fast clears. Crocodile isn't made for jangle.

Her range ability is a skills hot debuff, not so much foe damage.

I don't rage much anymore.

olaf is top dog jungle

lee sin is probably still the best
along with amumu, nocturne, and probably all of the new champs

gary do you know of any chart like the support one, but for top lane / mid lane counters?

he has no skill that stands out for ganks, just another damage dealer to help with the kill

second time a 90% chance to win was converted to 90% chance to lose by 1 leaver

naut jungle is OP this ladder apparently

jarvacia and riven are two others that i really like to jungle with for an aggro playstyle for pressuring lanes in a hurry

played a ganme with our jungler picking blitzcrank last pick of draft pick, it was awful. it really was apparent how disadvantaged you are by having a non-factor jungler when the rest of the team is decent (top lane dies to the gank, bottom lane gets outfarmed, mid gets pressured by gank)

time to play some ranked matches, see where i land

first ranked game, second renekton game

had a teemo top for some reason, i traded with him to take first blood, a few levels later i killed him again and escaped with 5 hp, and by then i was able to defend from him and his teammate xinzhao ganks no problem (started with a ward, bought another as first expired, was np)

pantheon was connecting/disconnecting, bottom was losing, was a close game until second-to-last teamfight when i had tons of items

actually looked up the rating system, it actually explains the promotion system unlike starcaft, and has divisions inside of the tier

2nd ranked game summary, i was renekton top vs pantheon

mid and bottom were both bad to start, enemy diana was 6/0 after say 15 minutes. i was zoning pantheon really bad early but he always retreated before death, i had continuous ward coverage of river to protect from vi gank (was able to completely out farm pantheon and was free to recall multiple times from top lane just to buy items and have my tower be totally safe)

thought it was going to be a loss for sure, but the team got a key double kill bottom and dragon, while me and pantheon were still top (i killed him first time a minute later)

game was decided by the fact that they had no initiation power because of the potential damage output of akali and vayne. both teamfights i was able to just rambo my ass in there with flash and slice and dice (there varus was so exposed he was near death just from incidental/aoe damage and then i slice and dice killed him after the first second









i think my starting placement matches "elo" was really low, winning the first 2 will probably make it jump by a lot for next placement matches

played garen on a smurf norms, went 22/2/8

i wish aram mirror match was a thing, enemy blitz in aram is the worst. mirror match blitzcranks would be the best

leblanc another champion that ruins aram. theres too many champions with mechanics that are god buttons in aram, for aram to be an actual game mode

Zilean with 100% ap rune set is so fun in aram
