last game we played was with an amazing teamcomp, i got fed as zed vs heimerdinger middle, and i was trying too hard to snowball the enemy, that our non-group team members started losing to the enemys bruisers who got big

it just ended up taking us longer than it should have to win (see post about shutting down a team in mid game, i didnt do it)

and overall i think my feedback was constructive and not meant to be negative or disruptive to your progress as a better player
especially since i was playing the support role in the game and basically trying to direct traffic once mid game hit

did you have a sightstone in that game? i think what would have helped us roam/shut them down would be wards in their jungle entrances (so we could roam through jungle to kill all 6 outer turrets, while also having them scared to leave their base)

yes, and i did quite a bit of that
if you remember after bottom lane was won that my adc complained that i left lane to roam/ward because she was 1v2 meanwhile we pushed mid 4v3 and i explained to her that i was moving on to new objectives

i remember that, i dont remember the whole game that well, i dont think there was many opportunities for me to come get kills in a lane (that spencer wasnt already doing)

i guess we just had to 5 man push earlier

basically the short answer to mid game success is efficiently rotating into the lanes to take more towers

i think one of the pros in an interview summed up lol as creep waves and towers, that the champions dont even matter

queued up for a ranked game, obligatory completely completely disregard towers and dragons and team, obligatory shen top who doesnt use ult until level 12 and its on a tank after the carry dies, obligatory people arguing over people kill/death record and the items they buy which has no bearing on the outcome of the game compared to playstyle

also switched out 5 armor pen marks for the 5 attack damage marks i had, will have to see how much +11 attack damage does for my level 1-2 zed play compared to +78 health

was reading some the past few days about how you really should define your lane matchup before the enemy jungler is done his first clear.

ex. if im playing zed against someone like lux or ryze, to get right on top of them behind the first creep wave, be in melee range to push them back to their tower (trade harass skills for damage trading, use health pots), get the 10 cs and level 2, force them to back to tower/recall, shove lane to tower (level 3 while they are 2) and buy ward and more pots to zone them out and automatically win the lane for the rest of the game

3rd and 5th pick called mid and top, 1st and 2nd pick both chose solo laners, lots of bitching and whining ensued

this is why we cant have nice team comps

also lol at how hard the enemy team is going to initiate on us

i league of dravened caitlyn and fiddle both to 25% health at level 1, janna got the first blood and 2 kills when volibear came to gank us (i died i think, donno)
janna proceeded to stay in lane for an hour after that and died to volibear who was still in lane, then did basically nothing with her gold after that, and stopped initiating/harassing/any sort of anything after we had a 1 level advantage (draven against caitlyn and fiddle, cool)

volibear hugged bottom constantly because he had to. despite there being an enemy kassadin pushing in middle, our akali top was content to creep farm and trade a couple kills with singed for 15 minutes, lux was fine with camping mid for cs, elise was helping us gank every once in a while (everyone was ignoring dragon)

around 15 or 16 minute mark, we had some pointless team fight around enemy red (we are purple side, enemy red is by dragon), which we won, and then walked around afterword, killed wraiths and recalled, so enemy was able to secure first dragon for nothing (at least akali got some cs top while singed was away)

i was basically berating/"coaching" our solo laners all game to join the team, go after objectives, etc (i know this is crazy, but i told akali that the champion akali might be good at ganking the enemy kassadin instead of trying to push against the enemy singed)

was basically typing out 3 lines of directions after every single enemy kill/event in the game, probably typed more than any league game, eventually we got second dragon, took a few towers, took baron (once akali joined the game by coming into our bot lane while elise was there, i think she got 4 kills and we killed a tower)

took 48 minutes, being up 54-28 champion kills, akali being godlike, shitloads of misplays by enemy kassadin that got him killed before fight, to win

end of game i got reported by the whole team of course, for talking shit



i think i also learned more about draven and general adc mechanics in that game than any other, constantly typing shit was helping me too
even though i got almost none of the champion kills, i was doing great overall damage to the enemy, landing tons of e's and r's, was actually able to be in the fight and evading both volibear and singed with my spinning axe/blood rush refreshing synergy and doing meaningful damage to singed and volibear at the same time

need some duo queues ranked, i think we can actually climb divisions

playing that last game, with a group of 3 horribly ignorant players (including my support/lane partner) and winning, is inspiring

if riven doesnt absolutely destroy zed in lane, im gonna be sad

current record in a pub is 16 min, and the players were horrible

i killed 3 towers in my lane before team killed either of their lanes first towers, killed inhib and both nexus turrets by myself when team was working on their lanes inhib towers

gonna move that goal down to 10 minutes

but lol, not a single allied champion was on my screen the entire game and i killed the nexus

12 minutes into a bot game, 9/1/3 and im level 7

started really shitty, renekton died to garen top and said "wow", aka "garen, the most easy to understand champion in the entire game just did something that surprised me"

we lost bot lane at start, my farm was horrid (lux wanted to play passive, always happens when i play caitlyn, and vice versa when i play vayne)

teamfighting and objectives in midgame got us a win, our bruisers threw out tons of damage while hecarim and katarina kept running through gull and ryze to try to get to me and lux in teamfights

we forced fights in tiny constricted areas so much, ryze ult + naut and lux cc + caitlyn q and traps + renekton aoe, lol

enemy draven was zoned out of every fight or ran away or attacked gull exclusively

neither teams carries was able to attack anything but bruisers, we had a full 5v5 teamfight where no one on either team died

gull dies once as fiddlesticks in an 18 minute aram, i dont even know

Vayne has and will be my favorite ADC, but it seems every time I play her, I am stuck with the world's most aggro babysit (Ali/Taric) supports that eat 40% health in harass before engaging, while all I want to do is farm the lane for 45 minutes.

I feel your pain.

the nautilus update has made me such an asshole too, I can use my W (+ hundreds of health in shield) 2-3 times per team fight (whilst running faster than their team with boots of mobility and r/w runes), so draven was just wasting his time while his entire team died.

I was screaming on vent about how we were going to lose, renekton turned out to be a boss later though

He got all the kills, the flow of the fights was perfect for his champ

4/3/11 jungle tank vi win, ganked top and got our jayce a double kill, got jayce to help rotate into lanes to kill towers, we took dragon right on every respawn

wasnt really a clean teamfight in the whole game because everyone was all over the place positioning on both teams. they had darius and volibear and our carry was ahri (typical douche faggot complaining about little things that have no impact on the game), so we used lots of hit and runs for team fights
