Game is very fun so far, I made a Rogue - Ranger/Marksmen/Saboteur. The servers are really full though.

It's really innovative too. Real time public raids happen randomly all the time, keeps you on your toes while questing.

I doubt this game will be able to be botted. Towns get randomly attacked and if no one defends them they get destroyed and just get worse and worse over time. If rifts aren't closed they just keep growing, footholds turn into enemy towns.

how is the time invested factor?

It's a grind, but there are a lot of instances as you go through that level you pretty fast. The rifts and invasions keep you busy if you're sick of questing. You don't et experience for closing rifts or stopping invasions, but you get loot based on participation that can only be gained from doing the public raids.

the real-time random stuff sounds really fun, how many (the random stuff) instances are there for stuff like that?

are the public things like a mix of a raid and a bg? how does that work? aka wg ofc.

Basically you're just questing and all hell breaks loose from the sky. You can see the rifts in the zone throughout the entire zone so people gather pretty quick to take them down.

This game is the first I've seen where the developers have flat out said that they are making a WoW killer. The transition for gameplay is very smooth because the two games are so similar. It takes all the good parts of WoW and fixes the bad (AoE looting, group porting, rez sickness is broken down in a 0-100% spirit system, half the souls have a pet option which is awesome for questing).

If you want to try it that beta key is still good and the event has been extended until tomorrow.

You don't need a code, no one does for the open beta.

I expect this event to be really laggy since it will bring a lot more traffic, but they fix stability issues VERY quickly.

Could be humbling playing this game with m8s really. It doesn't have the same seriousness aspect as WoW. Plus starting fresh we wouldn't be competing as much as cooperating.

Not sure yet. Going to try out diff classes in this beta.

Also it doesn't matter who plays what really. Every calling has a tank except mage psure.
