ive been getting tank kills on hardcore mode

normal is terrible because it seems like you need to shoot someone with 8 rounds of the lmg for them to die, which is incredibly difficult when your driver is driving like a crackhead and the person is running around/behind cover

and i dont have any of the unlocks like i said, definitely gimped in tank v tank fights too

also related to topic, should i use the tank lmg or hmg

if you are driving use the one that shoots faster..lmg?

use it until you can open up the canister shell then it is 1 shot kill maybe 2 shots if you clip them...also the canister is great for air vehicles you can disable them with 2-3 shots its a tank shotgun!

thermal + canister + proximity is the way to roll driving a tank

just got the savior medal and damn near finishing the main unlocks for support tree/first service star

still pretty close to ace squad medal, rush winner medal, and second assault rifle medal

these next few ranks should go by pretty quick with the 10k's from these

got my support service star 1, working on famas accessory unlocks now, need like 110 kills to get a usable scope

10 thousand are USAS12 (frag rounds im sure)

match history is purely operation metro conquest large

he stands and spams explosives on metro for 400 hours in the last 2 months

oh and 12 thousand grenade kills

on a 1200 ticket 64 man 24/7 metro server

got rush medal

im getting a hell of a lot more headshots than i used to since they changed the burst fire thing

i think i have to play hardcore mode exclusively, sick of firing entire clips at people in medium range and them doing the same, then us having to reload and duck behind cover to keep shooting at each other

people play support just because nothing is accurate to get a kill in 30 bullets reliably unless you are fps god aiming

yeah l85a2 is a beast in hc, it feels like one clip lasts enough to take down a squad easily
also tanks are more fun in hc

trying to do the 2nd ASSAULT assignment, and of the 4 squads, there are literally 2 of them with 4 recons

spawn and you are in a crossfire of 1 squads snipers at your back, the other squads at your front, and the third squad spawning the same place also getting shot by snipers

if i do find someone, it will be basically within rifle/smg/lmg/whatever range

imo just stay within 150, max 200 yards of the objective
its a bit trickier in conquest, you just have to find a busy flag

ive tried counter-sniping in operation metro, and have better results killing snipers with my mg36 with holo scope than with an actual sniper rifle

see the bitch sniper scope glare, shoot at it with machine gun, suppress the sniper, eventually get a headshot on them

still looking for some co-op to unlock the rest of the guns

gotta find some servers that actually have skilled players, or find a platoon to pubsmash with

found my old joystick i used to use for bf1942, searched for drivers, apparently amazon knows i bought it in june 2003
