I thought I'd hate this game but turns out it's surprisingly balanced, even if I hate shotguns and snipers. Haven't had really any lag or connection issues. Liking Search and Destroy the most but I play other game types too (for higher score streaks and camouflages). Just want to get golden/diamond guns, nice titles and 9th prestige (best emblem imo) and then stop caring about levels and prestige.

PSN down today for maintenance, fuck. Demolition can be really fun, I usually run UAV and Sentry Gun with Thog, Chopper, Lodestar or just Lightning Strike. Sentry is a beast in this game and game mode especially if you know where to place 'em. Thinking of permanently unlocking Ballista next. Already unlocked: Ghost, C4, Scavenger, Flak Jacket, AN-94.

Been playing with the claw grip (index finger resting near triangle, using the finger for reloads and jumps etc) and I kind of like it, but still not used to it. I'll give it a week to see if I can get adjusted to it. Mostly liking it because my middle finger is a better trigger finger than index finger.

-might not be too realistic, I mean how often do you get to detonate a bomb in search? I think I have well under 10 out of 50 detonations and I think I'm at around 1.5-2k kills.

-My m8 has around 100 spm but he uses EMPs and always plants the bomb as soon as he can, which is what I don't really understand. My W/L in Search is like .2 better than his, though.

Added. Was thinking of going for diamond snipers today but decided to fuck that shit, sniping is just incredibly boring apart from those odd feeds. I'm having most fun with my SMGs and Type 25. Oh and Sticks and Stones is surprisingly fun, I usually start and end my gaming session with that.

I love SnS, I just need a bloodthirsty for my gold crossbow then all I have is the ballistic knife which is a cakewalk and I'll have all my specials diamond.

I also have the gold DSR but I don't really want to play hardcore to get the SVU

I don't really like the type, I can't figure out how to do well with it. My 2 favorite assault rifles are the MTAR and the AN94

Only liked Type after the patch since it's basically a SMG with AR penalty on ADS and good range + recoil. AN is a beast of a gun as well.

AN with quickdraw/stock, c4, dexterity, toughness, and hardline. I used hardline because I just started getting scorestreaks like lodestars and shit. Need 20 more kills for the vsat calling card that ones a cool one, with the satellite overlooking the planet

I always use this on respawn game modes:
Ghost-Flak Jacket
Scavenger-Toughness
Dexterity

MSMC or T25 Quickdraw-Suppressor

Lethals and tacticals are nice but I tend to use them in league and SnD only.

Yeah I know, I think my only quad feeds are from exactly that haha. But I play smarter when I can't rely on my equipment. But how about dem tips n tricks for combat knife? I think I have around 130 kills with that now. Also was kinda disappointed to notice that none of my SnS ballistic kills counted because I didn't have the damn thing unlocked, bleh.

What class setup do you use when you knife? I have two knifing classes really, one with combat axes and one without.

If you use combat axes, it looks something like this:

Lightweight
Scavenger/Fast Hands
Extreme Conditioning/Tactical Mask
2x Combat Axe

If you don't use combat axes, it looks something like this:

Lightweight/Ghost
Cold Blooded/Scavenger
Extreme Conditioning/Tactical Mask
1x Concussion Grenade

I play very very aggressively. The great thing about Concussion Grenades is that while they're concussed, they can't turn as fast as you can run, even with stock. When you hit them with it, strafe around them to the side instead of running directly at them, and usually you'll be able to get to them faster than they can turn.

The scorestreaks I run when knifing are obviously UAV/Counter UAV/Orbital VSAT. Your only strength is knowing where your enemies are without them knowing where you are. Counter UAV is helpful even with ghost, for cases like if their team gets a VSAT or you're hiding around a corner waiting for them and aren't moving.

Play objective type game modes (not hardpoint/HQ, mostly dom) since you'll know exactly where they'll spawn and where they're going to be going.

Yeah I use something similar to your second set-up. LOL @ the first axe in the video. Haven't touched axes since Hail Mary and the Bankshot challenge.

That was the luckiest Hail Mary I've gotten. I used a Fresh Start (doh) when I was on my 4th prestige the first time and had to redo it, I got it on Meltdown Ground War Domination by throwing it over the B flag to the left of the enemies big house, since they'll usually all pile in from that direction.

I love the combat axe, I got the calling card for 500 kills and don't use it much anymore though

Bleh Art of War knife shall do, some of the challenges for Gold are pretty absurd.

Just started using the Type 25 since I decided to go for diamond assault rifles...NTB i might say

I think I've gone 1.5 prestiges since having 'destroy 1 dragonfire' as my last challenge for diamond launchers. I think I've seen two in that time, one was destroyed by teammate's bullets and the other first had my rocket miss the dragonfire(?) and then give me a hit marker(?!?) after I clearly saw it hit the thing directly. What the fuck. My m8's reports of him seeing dragonfires all the time when we're not playing together doesn't help.

Also, 9th prestige. Won't go to Prestige Master unless they add more prestiges, emblem looks bad and just don't really want to be a Prestige Master lol.

You still have to do 10th, and being prestige master is cool because you unlock everything.

what do you need a dragonfire kill for, the smaw? the smaw is the only gold launcher i have, are the other ones tough? RPG seems hard, killing an aerial scorestreak with no lock-on

Yeah I need the Dragonfire kill for SMAW. And the launchers aren't really tough, I thought I'd have a hard time destroying an aerial score streak with RPG but Stealth Choppers go down like nothing (1 hit kill). One triple kill was the hardest since RPG rockets go pretty much nowhere where you want them, but got lucky on a Ground War B-flag. Same goes for 5 double kills, just camp a flag or go in their spawn. FHJ challenges aren't hard, maybe a bit time-consuming (destroying player-controlled streaks and what not).

Nope, it only has flares for FHJ and SMAW.

Been debating getting an older CoD, just don't really have so much fun in this game any more. Maybe I need a break or something. I'm planning on getting to 55 this weekend though (double xp).

Maybe I could set a goal of like 1000 Search victories or 10000 kills in Search or something, now I'm at 260 and ~2k. Or W/L to +1, now it's at 0.92 euh. Just need to swap lobbies less, hate when I join a 0-2 late game with split screeners and trick shotters.

Only play League and Search really. League is fun because there's real competition, sometimes I get matched against way too good people. But it keeps things interesting. And there's not as much shotgun/sniper bullshit! Hoping to make it to Platinum one day.

Also proal getting Prestige Master this weekend.

Thinking of getting a Tritton headset in the near future. Heard good things about them and the price isn't that bad (~60 euros). Also could use a small monitor but don't have the monies right now.
