Recently (8 months or so) a new Chic-Fil-A opened up in Naples. My friends and I decided to try it out since none of us had been to this particular restaurant before and I was quite pleased. I have since returned a few times to order their delicious #1 meal, the Chicken Sandwich. It's probably one of the best chicken sandwhiches that I have had, however, this is not the reason for posting.

The reason is that this particular joint is what I believe to be the flagship of their restaurants. I have never seen a nicer "fast food" place, ever. This is the premier model of what all fast food restaurants should aspire to be. It is clean, the service was fast, the food was delicious and nutritious, and it's operated by a caucasian staff that speaks English.

None of those in Connecticut. I've heard they're great though.

The best fast food restaurant here would be Krispy Kreme, the entire place is incredibly clean and well decorated, the staff are all fluent in English (HS kids probably), and they know how to make coffee well.

Wendy's usually has a pretty good staff, they can get my order right. One girl there got my order right after they had been out of about 8 items I ordered and I changed my order around because of it. I ended up getting one of their "triple stack" burgers and combining it with a bacon cheeseburger to make a quadruple bacon cheeseburger, and had another four plain burgers and some fries.

The worst are McDonalds and Dunkin Donuts as far as service, but I haven't gone to McDonalds in about 10 years.

Anyone just outside NYC up towards CT or from southwest CT will probably know Garden Catering, and if they don't, they should. Best chicken in New England.

Chick-fil-a is pretty damn good, I grew up like 5 mins from Truett Cathy's house and 10 mins from the 1st ever rest.
All of their places are extremely nice especially the "Dwarf Houses" (have little doors and a full service part) or "Truett's" (more like a 50's diner). If you are in HS and live near one I would highly recommend getting a job there through school b/c they have a college tuition program for their employees.

Fast food in general is pretty bad. As far as clean ones go, I don't really think such things exist, especially after working in one (Dunkin Donuts) for ~2 years.

I'm a sub shop kind of pie, probably because there is about 5 of them within walking distance that are all quality.

I used to love the Subway near me in HS because I knew everyone who worked there. Free sandwiches always taste good.

Until you find out that the meats been dropped on a dirty floor, only to be picked back up and used on the next customer.

Not that I did any of that, ofc

This type of thing happens at ANY eating place...not just fast food. Best thing to do is not think about that crunchy thing you are biting on.

Yeah that's why I liked it when I knew the people. Being franchise operated, they also got their meat from their own supplier, and the vegetables from the farm store next door (the people who owned that place owned a few farms and sold the stuff there). So I liked that. I also liked having the subway cups full of rum and coke or Mt. Dew and Jager on occasion hanging out there waiting for friends to get off work on a weekend.

i used to work at chick-fil-a... they don't want to be called a fast food rest. they would like to be called fast service.. somehow there is a difference but yeah the main goal is to get the food out as quick as possible... i hated working there but i still had fun though

I worked in my hometown, so probably not.

There's also like, 8 Dunkin Donuts per town, and about 4 times that in bigger cities
