Flawless show, played for an hour, played one more song after they were supposed to be off already from stupid time constraints. After 8 minutes of people making noise and shouting for one more, they break out The Odyssey as an encore, add in a few solos, and turn the 24 minute song into a 30 minute encore. Whole show the whole band was right on, playing perfectly.
Sanctity were awesome too, a lot of energy and they kept playing with a lot of thrasher's energy even though a lot of the crowd weren't into it. Great guitarist too. Notable for having more energy than Edguy.
Echoes of Eternity were impressive, it seems some of the people there were less thinking about their music and paying more attention to their vocalist (and with good reason). Great drummer, good guitarists, and a great female vocalist who can use her voice well with the music, much better than the current notable ones.
Some shitty band played before these, some girl handed me a copy of their demo, left it in my friends car, need to know the name so I never see them again. They were playing for 2 minutes, same chord, not even moving it, just same chord in the same position from 2 guitarists and a bassist for 2 minutes. Guy singing sounds worse than the worst moments of James LaBrie, and I think he was trying to do that.
Alright this band was Severence. Some of the other bands on the underground bill weren't bad.
Underground bill: The Master's Hand, Mornalir, Severence, DisAria, Shadows of Immortality, Once In Ruin, Myopia, Icon of Entropy
Mornalir weren't bad, the girl singing wasn't too good but she had nice hair.
Once In Ruin were talented, two guitarists, keyboardist who could do his part and make up for the lack of bassist, drummer, and a weak vocalist who looked like a wanker.
