Yeah Mars could contain artificial human habitats in which humans grow to adapt to different conditions. The atmosphere could actually contain enough oxygen and nitrogen to emulate Earth's atmosphere if enough plant life was moved there, which is why space exploration programs have taken a strong focus to Mars.
