The prediction also brought me to the question of can a pitcher pitch 7 innings, play a position for 1, and pitch the 9th to get a win and a save in the same game.

Prob not

Apparently it was possible back in the day but a rule was made. A pitcher is allowed to do it, but if credited with a win cannot get a save.
