The Rangers are on fire.

Every game Detroit has had, has been a 1 goal game or an empty netter.

Minnesota is undefeated still...

They're playing like garbage, Last season they had the fewest shots against, on average was around 20 shots a night against them, now they're up to 30+ almost every night.

They're finding ways to win which is good until they can start playing better.

Also Osgood isn't playing like he did last season, being #1 is too much pressure on him imo.
Conklin has been more solid then Osgood in my eyes

Franzen out 3-4 weeks wont help either.

I wouldn't go as far to say "garbage". They are still #1 in shots per game, and #12 in shots allowed. You didn't mention that they are the defending Cup Champions, they have the "Detroit Mystique", so every team plays tooth-n-nail against them.

I disagree completely with Osgood, and it sounds like you're another person who is ready to tear down Osgood as so many people have during his career. His record and numbers, mainly, his wins, are good enough for me to stand by him. I guess he will never be good enough for people, but he doesn't care, he has more Cups than most goalies in the league. If anything, Conklin playing well can only force Osgood to play better, and I doubt Babcock would hesitate to let him know.

It sucks that the mule is out, that definitely hurts. I am really looking forward to seeing more of Darren Helm this year.

Did you catch that game last night? Osgood was calm and had no trouble with the Kings in the shoot out, and you can't fault him for the goal that bounced off of Lidstrom's skate, that was a fluke.

Either way, Detroit is #2 in the league, and it's still not good enough for spoiled Detroit fans! ;) I love it.

I've watched nearly all last seasons games, and all of them so far this season, Osgood was solid, he's jumping around moreso this season then he did last year, he's still playing well enough to let the wings win games, but overall performance I think he's being out played by Conklin, Yes I hope this will push him to play better, just like how he fought Hasek for playing time last year.

And about shot totals, Wings dominated puck possession which with out letting them get the puck, led to having very little shots against, they're coughing the puck up and not being solid, given there are times where they look great, there are more mishaps and they're in their own zone more on a daily basis then last season.

All I'm saying is Wings arn't playing up to what their capable of and are still finding ways to win the game.
