i'm annoyed that the media has covered the NBA so much this summer. i didn't make the topic to play on that idea or to fall into thinking that all the off-season drama means everything. i just don't think bosh has held himself very well lately and it made me want to vent a bit, regardless of the timing. the topic wasn't designed to get a lot of attention. it was blog-like but it was also sports-related.

game-wise i agree that the NBA is boring as hell until all-star voting, around trade deadlines, just after the all-star game, and the playoffs, mostly because too few players actually care about winning during the season and playing the right way. they mostly want paychecks and they're cocky about their talent (they have a very good idea about what teams suck and what teams are good).

i actually care about the game and i pay attention to character and also to a lot of minor details, but i try to avoid getting wrapped up in media stuff as much as possible. the point of the topic was to expose and shame a fake personality, even if i didn't do a great job of it.

all you had to say was you care to much about a dumb ass league.
