even i don't even give a shit because the tournament is on.

just happy that boston is doing well because someone needs to beat the fakers and i doubt it will be the newly named miami heat-faggots or da bulls.
maybe the san antonio seniors or okc or some upstart team will take the lakers out inb4finals.

if duncans ankle injury isn't too serious/he comes back healthy and ready to play for the playoffs the spurs are in western finals if not overall finals

mavs are nice, but won't get out of the west

thunder/lakers/spurs win west, probably thunder if everyone is healthy + spurs aren't. with perkins they can take the lakers this year, imo

if spurs are healthy, they win west. lakers only win if they don't play the thunder or spurs

east, bulls win. celtics still gellin, trading perk away this season hurt them. miami will play flashy, but won't beat the bulls or the celtics in 7.

finals- bulls > thunder, bulls < spurs, bulls/lakers goes either way, imo

It's going to be a rematch of last years final.

Semi's are Spurs/Lakers and Heat/Celts.

Oh, snap.

I do think the Bulls are fantastic, but for some reason I just can't imagine them going to the finals this year. (Or apparently even the semi's). :donno:, NBA is such a crapshoot anyways.

why?

miami will implode and the celtics are struggling. trading away perk was the worst thing they could have done for this season, should have waited until the summer.

@dustin, the thunder picking up perk and harden emerging as a scorer means their age doesn't mean shit. the way theyve played this year and against the lakers last year, they could do damage in the postseason this year. they wont win it all, but they will probably make it to west finals if the mavs fuck up like always in the playoffs. lakers will lose in 7, perkins is the piece they needed to beat them

What a surprise, you think the Bulls are the best.

Spurs are lolold. Dallas takes chocking a whole new epic level. Ok and LA will be must see tv. Lakers are getting old, if they are going to win another title, probably this year or bust. Maybe next year, but not sure.

Celts are lolold as well, and if they go against a dominant post team, gn8. Bulls best defensive team in the league, and Rose is a beast. Heat have the best record in the NBA, if you take out their first 15 games. If all you did was pay attention to the media, and ignored the standings, you'd think Chicago was on pace to win 75 games, and the Heat might not even make the playoffs. Yet only 2 games separate them. Heat have the schedule to overtake Boston and Chi for the #1 seed. Magic... poor magic. Howard is totally leaving, and can't blame him. Magic need so much more to even be considered seriously for title contention.

Basically it's coming down to Lakers/OK in West, and CHI/BOSTON/MIAMI in East. I lean more towards Boston/Heat, but I wouldn't be totally surprised if Chicago makes it to the finals.

I wish I had some sort of Darkhorse to put in here, but let's face it, the rest of the teams aren't going anywhere.

bulls/heat/celts end the season with sub .500 opponents. just sayin. and the bulls are the least glamorous of the big 3 in the east (though lol no one talks about the magic lol)
when the heat learn that LeBron is a modern day scottie pippin and not a #1 they will let wade flourish and be great (unless bosh tries to be all tough and fuck them over)

Lebron is the best player in the league, however, he's not the best closer in the league. That being said, he has made several game winning shots.

http://82games.com/gamewinningshots.htm

Outdated information, ofc. But in the 5 year sample size provided, Lebron had more Game winning shots than any other player. I'm not sure how you can make the Pippin Comparison tbh. Pippens Career averages were 16.1 pts, 6.4 rebounds, and 5.2 assists per game. Lebron, to date, is averaging 27.8, 7.0 and 7.0. Furthermore his playoff averages are even better (29.3, 8.4, and 7.3).

I have no clue what to make of Bosh. I think one thing we can all agree on is he is def not a #1, and only had numbers to make it seem like he was due to Toronto having jack shit on the team. He's a good player, but he's not transcendent, and he sure as hell isn't elite. Both Wade and Lebron though are #1's, and I've noticed they are doing a far far better job of switching off as of late as to whom will have the ball late in the game.

Did you see Lebron came out and said Rose should win the MVP this year?

pippen was pippen while being #2. lebron is a pippen class but being given the luxuries of a star (in actuality that only means hes not the go to guy and does not warrant the end game strategy.

what im saying is pippen was an excellent #2. lebron wants to be a #1, but he cant close. wade is the closer. so lebron is really a #1.5 or a #2. and pippen is a better #2. thats all.

and i cant call anyone the best in the game if he cant close the game. the nba has always been about who gets the ball for the final possession. kobe is still top dog imo. lebron just seems more fancy because hes a physical specimen. but hes got no heart. evident by his most recent visit to clevlend. he pretended he was off takin a shit instead of being out with his team during the announcement. all because they wouldnt let his posse in. hes a bitch.

look, im not saying lebron is better than pippen. but as a team goes pippen knew how to be the #2 and lebron does not, so this makes pippen more valuable. and pippen was a couple games away from bringing the bulls to the finals when jordan was retired. no one remembers just how close it really was.

Lebron took Cleveland to the Finals with garbage. Cleveland won what, 65 games last year with Lebron. What are they doing without him?

Also, if you checked the link, in the 5 year sample they showed, Lebron actually had more gw shots than anyone else.

:donno:, but the numbers don't back up that he can't close.

he had to have the gw shots because the team wasnt good enough to be in front more often. the lakers, for example, are good enough to not have to have a gw shot in most games. and you have to attribute some of that to how well kobe plays all game, and the rest to that the cavs just were not that good. last year playoffs lebron caves. during those finals lebron caved. he has no heart. he is not a winner. thats all.

Kobe is 1st so far this year, Lebron 2nd.

Wade a better closer? He was 22nd in 2009-2010, and he's 20th this year. Having Lebron on his team has improved his clutch play.

So you're basing this on what? A 1 game sample? He had a triple double in his last playoff game as a Cav. He averages more during the playoffs in every statistical category than he does in the regular season. Do you have any thing to back up any of your assertions?

The point you make about him doing it because the team was so bad just further proves he's a number 1. They win 60+ games with him. Without him, they LOSE 60+ games. IS there any other player in the league that would cause that much of a transformation?
