this might be the unpopular opinion, but aside from hot girls in spandex, the olympics are fucking stupid
like 90% of the games are based upon ancient war tactics that don't have a place in the modern world - who gives a fuck how far you can throw a javelin or the shotput? People train their whole lives to be a part of something that gets them almost nowhere unless they're cool enough to get on a wheaties box. Oh, the fucking badminton medal, are you kidding me?? if you spend your life on a sport that shitty, you're beter off dying immediately after the olympic games because if you don't get a gold medal, you'll work as a wal-mart greeter for the rest of your life

in summary, the olympics are dated and fucking dumb

I think ping pong is more fun to watch than tennis. Even taking into consideration baseball, basketball and soccer, table tennis is more entertaining and holds my attention longer.
