Went to the Browns/Ravens game with my pops and brother.

Good times.

Saw the Raiders were getting creamed by Philly.

mccown played a lot better than i thought he would. it sure helps to have marshall, he kept acting hurt (i guess to get injury timeouts?) but then joining the next play.

i think marshall tweaked his hammy or something on a play in the endzone. but mccown did play decently.

one thing is for certain, if we remove our starting qbs from the equation, we have a better team!

he's been on ir for over a week. he likely has a birth defect that results in a narrow spinal canal, causing his spinal cord to get bruised when his neck was compressed (spinal cord would thicken when compressed, in a narrow spinal canal this could cause bruising). when this happened i figured this was the reason behind it because these injuries are very uncommon, and usually only happen when there is a narrow spinal canal. to be able to play again (and not risk the same injury) he would need to have surgery to get this defect fixed

thanks for posting the article, though

/e - it could also be a herniated disc, like the nick collins injury

“I will give you a little snibbet,” Chmura said (without identifying the dictionary in which he found the word “snibbet”).  “I got a chance to talk to Jermichael Finley before the game, and I would bet my bottom dollar his career’s over.  Over.  He needs surgery, and it’s herniated in [the C3 and C4 vertebrae]. . . .  I think it’s gonna be a Nick Collins deal.  He’s definitely not gonna play in Green Bay, I’d put my house on that.”
