probably more ready for hilary than obama. not really cuz of the woman vs black issue, just that hilary is a clinton, and a life politician who has been on the stage for 20+ years.

Yea thats what ensured I wasn't pissed off after 2004.
Who gives a shit if gays lose all rights.
I would never want somebody to get an abortion, although I do believe the right should be there.
I'm against the death penalty but will never affect me.
I really could care less about the environment.
I really could care less if foreigners think we're dumbasses.
The only thing I actually did care about was I didn't know whether Bush would try his hardest to get our troops home as soon as possible. (I'm not one of those out now now now liberals)
And don't remember other important dividing issues.

But yea @ Joe, I was born Republican because of the financial reasons you said. But after that the stupidity of Bush was too much.

first off, bush is a better president than any of the fish in the sea right now.

secondly, for the primaries I'm voting for obama because if he wins hillary fucks off (she wont be a VP). and obama stands no chance against McCain, who will no doubt beat romney with giuliani's support

and I'm not rich, i read up on politics. everything i hear about the dems makes me want to cut my feet off and offer them to jigsaw to put me in some crazy scheme so i can cut more limbs off

finally, if you remove the dumb people who dont know what they are talking about from the election, who wins? for review: what side is getting all the press coverage, making total fools of themselves, and has well lets face it, largely uneducated followers. Inner city people, poor people, treehuggers, gays. I like listening to mark levin ask people why they are democrat, and then show them that all of their beliefs are actually republican, and all they do is attack him.

Take any portion of your opponent's argument, drop the useless context (well, it's useless to YOU), and use it to change the subject entirely.

objective accomplished

@ spencer: the same could also be said about the hillbillies from the south, living in the sticks, or the farmers of Oklahoma. largely not educated past hs, and voting predominately republican. any argument about politics could basically be used by both sides. and by pledging allegiance to only one side you limit your options, and become a yes man for that side. if I had to pick, I lean towards dems only because I do not believe in trickle-down economics, and that giving to the rich indirectly help the economy. it has failed in the past, and in today's increasingly global economy that money often ends up overseas. but I also don't want the government making programs to solve everyone's problems (dems ofc). programs should be help laden with incentives to fix your life and get back on track, not life-long crutches.

the trouble is, everyone picks 4 or 5 topics that they truly care about (often times 1 or 2 is all it takes), and are stuck with the lesser issues of that person/group of people, regardless if you agree or not. that's the nature of our system, and why nothing will ever change.

I'm not a republican yes man. I happen to be somewhat moral, don't cower under a rock in the face of danger, and know a thing or two about the economy.

Plus i realize none of the damage we do the environment is going to stop the natural flow of things, nor do we have the capacity to keep living at our status quo and cut back on that damage.

You're gonna call democrats stupid, when more than 50% of Bush voters (based on exit polls) believed that the War in Iraq was related to the pursuit of Osama Bin Laden.

And the other less than 50% probably voted for him because they hate gay people that much.

hating gay people is a political stance.

Obama is the only reasonable candidate now, he dropped the gun control issue and he wants to focus on taking action that actually does something useful.

Obama is the only reasonable candidate now, he dropped the gun control issue and he wants to focus on taking action that actually does something useful.

He'd be alright I guess, his senate record doesn't really show him doing anything bad.

OH WAIT, he didn't do anything at all! LOLMUG

You're gonna call democrats stupid, when more than 50% of Bush voters (based on exit polls) believed that the War in Iraq was related to the pursuit of Osama Bin Laden.

And the other less than 50% probably voted for him because they hate gay people that much.

hating gay people is a political stance.

and correct me if i'm wrong, 50% is less than 100%

The first post refers to one portion, the second refers to the other.
Obviously a generalization, and the first post was more important.

I know what your posts were, I was saying 100% of democrats vs. ~50% of republicans.

but then again, you are a democrat; i don't expect this to make sense

Because clearly 100% of all democrats are inner-city black women with 18 children.
