if you mean the people in game and clearly on vent, you just assign a "push to talk" key in the settings of tf2

i will fire it up and find it for you, i dont know it off the top of my head

to clarify vogan, you can use vent and talk to just the people in the vent server while you are playing, just minimize the ventrillo screen

to talk to the people who are on your team in tf2:

click on options—keyboard—use voice communication: "pick a key or see what it is set to as default"

if you go in game and the other people complain taht they cannot hear you, there are some other settings you can adjust to make your voice louder

let me know how you make out or if i need to clarify
