how the hell can you mix in metric system and bs you have in states in one and same physic problem? :donno:

You can convert Metric system to American System of Measurement there buddy.

i know, but it clearly fits in my head

Just get a Graphing Calculator. They have unit converters in them.

i was on a scottish tourbus with speedometer in km and he told us distances in miles

that was a pro or old physics teacher

exactly what?
you must admit american system (lbs, inch, feet, fahrenheit etc) is just wrong and clearly very useful
when you go to the huge numbers, what do you americans use? metric
when you go to supel small sizes, what do you use? metric

biggest fail of american system that it build on dozens and clearly tens
how the hell can you count in lbs somethng and when it gets to heavy you switch to tons (1ton=1000kg=1000000g=10000000mg and etc)

well the metric unit to measure time is seconds
but you guys go to base six for minutes and hours
if you love your 10 shit so much why clearly use decaseconds and hectaseconds and kiloseconds instead of minutes, hours, days

ton for us = 2k poinds, clearly kg m8. ton is generic.

clearly sure about 12 inches. i think we just hated euros so much we decided to say fuck it and do something different.

well 1 1/100th of an inch is the smallest distance that can be seen with the naked eye
and well feet are just more useful for when you're walking and shit
