I know dan will probably have something nasty to say about this selection, but I sided with my coworker who has 30+ scotch drinking experience and he told me this was the most sound investment for the price range.

Single malt is much better than blended imo, but thats clearly a bad choice

lmk how you like it, I have a bottle from colorado thats a type of scotch that I have never had that is being saved, and some other scotches to drink

you should come by and have a scotch day ofc

the fellow who was playing poker with us tonight is a kind of scotch maniac
i brought this bottle to the table and he turned his nose up because he drinks single malt exclusively, then he had a drink of my blended and and smiled

tonight was officially my first night dabbling with scotch and he offered me some glenfiddich which was clearly bad

i have to admit that both have a very distinct flavor but as of now i do clearly like 1 over the other

but if you want me to talk shit about a different type of blended scotch, he gave me a fifth of chivas regal which is a 12 year bottle that tastes like shit compared to what i purchased this evening

well like i said, as compared to dan or joe i am a complete nub
but what i experienced tonight was kinda unique
you know the chivas has to be kinda :euh: considering the fellow gave me a 1/5 to take home for free for just letting him try my pinch :)
