isnt that price fixing? making threats/punishments for not keeping the market at the price you want

?

No, if there is a lot of items being sold, they price drops.

What VSG and them did was that they decided the price for everyone, and was going to "blacklist" everyone selling shit for a lower price than that.

give people power to control a trading forum where they themselves trade is only asking for corruption.

no one should be allowed to mod where they trade

all im saying is mods should not be allowed to trade on the realms they are mod for. way to easy to price fix/set the market/influence things.

though in todays friendly jsp environment it probably does not happen as often. i will say i didnt trust a single mod when i first joined. ofc the mods on west were korcom and bruce, so go figure. they both had a stick up their ass back then.

The current system also allows has numerous checks against this - plenty of TAs+TMs who can reopen toilets if no rules were broken, Senior Moderators who can review stuff if there is a problem, etc. I don't think there is a problem with price fixing nor much of a need to worry about it atm.

tl;dr = LOL brucemackey + korcam

i think the mods nowadays are a lot more responsible than compared to when i first joined, not to mention being held up to higher standards by their superiors

all im saying is mods should not be allowed to trade on the realms they are mod for.  way to easy to price fix/set the market/influence things.

though in todays friendly jsp environment it probably does not happen as often.  i will say i didnt trust a single mod when i first joined.  ofc the mods on west were korcom and bruce, so go figure.  they both had a stick up their ass back then.

The current system also allows has numerous checks against this - plenty of TAs+TMs who can reopen toilets if no rules were broken, Senior Moderators who can review stuff if there is a problem, etc. I don't think there is a problem with price fixing nor much of a need to worry about it atm.

tl;dr = LOL brucemackey + korcam

also "back in the day" if you argued with a mod you'd pretty much get warned. now any report against a mod isnt taken lightly

In before Theory Crafting Joe thinks that Price Fixing is simple.

tell me its never happened on jsp (besides the obvious time)
guarantee back when things were not in such abundance it happened.

Nobody said it's never happened.

For somebody who "og;dc's d2jsp", you sure seem to be caring about D2 price fixing.

thought we were just chatting

i dont really get worked up about jsp m8
