i started with 11k before inscription
bank tab cost me 2.5k, so started with 8.5k

i spent some gold on herbs/eternal lifes befor you were stocking me up
tanner paid 6k to me for nobles 1

i currently have 5.1k gold

so i spent roughly 9,000 gold constructing the decks in first post, not counting all the herbs you sent me

as i had said, i made about the first set of decks (1 of each) from my own mats, so around 9k gold on 12.5k market price worth of decks

instead of selling decks @ market price and making my money back there, i gave tanner his at 6k gold, because im pretty sure thats what we all had agreed on, that is what makes up the gold im out right now, i sold to tanner at discounted instead of selling the first nobles deck that i paid for at market price to gain back what i spent

i told tanner 6k to break even under th assumption that the second deck would be provided to me with your mats for me to also provide to joe at the same price as tanner paid, effectively having them split the costs of my first deck with each other, instead of tanner paying in full and joe paying nothing

so i took a 4k gold loss to provide an extra deck to the guild as a whole, assuming you would be fine that i use your mats to make up that cost for myself

with a month in between faires, an extra deck i figured would be worth well more than 2-3 nights worth of farmed herbs

i think that is what caused the problem

tl;dr - i need joe to pay me 6k for this deck for me to make even on making 3 decks and giving all 3 of them to you guys instead of 2 to you guys and 1 to a random

you still get yours free, yours is going to likely be the last deck to be made during this faire, everyone else will have to wait until next month, in which the costs will change because youll have plenty of time to generate the mats for no cost
those next month decks would be mine, joshs alts, and macs

further tl;dr - tanner and joe paid for the leisure of not waiting another month to get your decks, and they are fine with that, i am not making any profit

final version:
tanner and joe could have gotten each of their decks for free, but there would only be 1 for them to decide who got it until next months fair, they bought the one i was going to sell outright (at market cost) and shared the cost with each other so they could both get one

I had no idea that me owing you gold had anything to do with something made from someone else's mats, but ok.

And you're right I am broke, I don't have 6k to pay you for it.

I wasn't going to reply the first time that I read this thread (I have now read it 3 times over), but you have 35K gold worth of decks in the tab, and I will assume from the rest of the thread that over 20K of that is from me (subtracting your 12K), so why you are charging anyone for decks, I don't know.

Top Dog out

Don't expect me to read a response, or try to understand it. And unlike most of the m8's, I care.

dont know how i can explain to you any clearer than i did in this thread

just because theres 35k worth of decks in the bank tab automatically means that it somehow belongs to me?

I believe that the feeling I had going into this was that I was going to go ahead and try to supply everybody with a Nobles deck, for free so that they didn't have to spend any gold on them. I didn't account if anybody absolutely wanted to get one earlier by spending their own gold on it, I simply assumed they would have more important things to spend it on first and the time frame wasn't a big issue. I did not discuss that with anybody. However, it did seem that Joe & Tanner were both a little bit reluctant to have to shell out the gold, when perhaps we could have all funded it a little better as a guild (i.e. - everyone could have chipped in 1,000 or something to that nature).

I also think that if you are bringing matters such as "could have made profit (etc.)" into the argument over how much gold you should have (the 12k you are trying to recoup), you probably should have went ahead and sold the first deck that you made with your own materials on the AH so that this type of scenario didn't occur. We had nothing to do with you spending 9K on decks, but I appreciate the effort in bringing cheaper decks to mates, I'm sure it will reflect in their DPS numbers. Oh well, too late now.

Yes, i very well could have sold the first one, but as both of our goals at the beginning of this thing was to get the decks to everyone in guild who wanted one, selling one to random random on the auctionhouse wasnt some thing i was really looking forward to doing because it wouldnt contribute at all to the original goal
tanner and joe both are the kind of people that dont want to accept freebies, the money they paid to me goes right back to the money i spent on the herbs to get them their decks before this months faire ended

and the reason for going out of order with decks, even though i had promised you the second deck, when i spent all of yesterday trading away duplicates in order to finish off the 2 decks i was close to, i came out with 1 full deck and only missing 1 card of the third deck, so i assumed the 2nd and 3rd would be done very close to each other

which is why i gave joe the 2nd one, the increase in dps for him would have made a much greater impact on the raid we had scheduled for last night than the moderate increase in TPS/avoidance it would give you as tank.
