so in summary

doing the heroic daily quest gives 2 emblem of triumph
doing the non-heroic daily quest gives 1 emblem of triumph
emblem of triumphs are exchanged for ilvl 245 loot
25 man ulduar hard modes and algalon drop ilvl 239 loot

in the next patch you will get comparable loot from level 80 regular mode dungeons and heroics as killing algalon in 25 man

naming convention appears to be changing if these are final names for live

uses a name of a "hero" of the class
warlocks have gul'dan, kel'thuzad, etc

and because of that, sets are now separate for horde/alliance based on the character from lore

so alliance shaman wouldnt have gear named "thralls badass shit"

so theres going to be 3 different levels of tier 9

badges are going to purchase the middle set for some reason

one is ilvl 232, a bit better than ulduar 25 regular mode gear
2nd is ilvl 245, a bit better than ulduar 25 hard mode gear
3rd is ilvl 258, way above even algalon loot

if i was to guess what the drop break down would be it would be

232 from normal modes 10 man and 25 man
245 from hard modes 10 man and 25 man
258 from hard modes with tribute left (super hard mode, this means you clear hard mode while only being allowed x amounts of wipes)

if 10 man and 25 man drop separate loot, then proalbey

232 from normal mode 10 man
245 from normal mode 25 man and hard mode 10 man
258 from hard modes 25 man and super hard mode 10 man
higher than 258 off-set loots for 25 man super hard modes

i wish they would slow down the progression some though, naxx gear is going to be completely 100% obsolete compared to a ~250ish ilvl piece

blizzard is screwing up

instead of handing out free higher tier gear for nothing but making it leaps and bounds better than older gear , why not just lower the jump in between tiers letting older gear last longer

although they did that with ulduar i guess
malygos/kt gear was clearly better than a bunch of ulduar gear which disappointed people who want fresh new purples

proalbey the problem was 3.1 coming out so late after wotlk launch
EVERYONE all ready had the malygos/kt loot
whereas going into 3.2, the entire server wont have the best 25 ulduar gear
