im stuck with shitty sword spec or WC. it would be an upgrade to me for pvkek

how much does it poor itemization weigh vs its increase in dps over ironsoul?

and what about 131 agility vs the 125 strength or so on other weapons?

my sword is agi, tbh im a bit light of crit anyway with my current itemization, and i have like 2400 str fully buffed, 6.8k ap. i could stand to get more crit.
also, id take ironsoul over wc at this point. to upgrade to 2 x t9 i need to drop about 8 exp, which means iso new weapon or new belt and boots etc

so you would go from a 232 dps weapon down to a 212 dps weapon just to get better itemized?

^ ive never really played melee dps, dont know how much weapon damage matters

and 1 strength = 2 ap right?
does that conversion happen before +10% ap type buffs? do you know a more exact ratio taking raid buffs into account?

no, but wc just is nn when mixed with t9 pieces

ive considered dropping wc to go back to boh with the 2 t9 pieces, but i doubt it would be an increase, just a wash

i think all buffs are off base (ie ap from my str included, ap from str from kings not included)

which is awesome because i bought conquest t9 gloves last night with badges, then decided i would hold onto my t8 gloves for a while, so returned them to save for t9 shoulders

I got 245 Tier Shoulders & 245 Expertise Tank Bracers

Currently at 189 Hit Rating without having to massively regem

Can I get by with that low of Hit Rating?

hunter's do physical dmg and our hit cap is 8% or 263 hit for bosses, less for trash

i'm assuming melee that deals physical dmg is around the same, but as long as you're at least at 5% or so you won't miss on trash iirc

Talking about tanking & it's also 8% here

khornne is running with 194 hit rating

I could purchase the Str DPS ring with Hit on it for Triumph badges and skip a +DR ring

i did not say dps anywhere, because you know, you said tank bracers in your post

hit cap doesn't change with role changes, but awsm

if you're below the cap on a boss, i do believe they can resist taunts and things [not sure of tanking mechanics, so don't hold me to that] but your threat building attacks definitely have a chance to miss if you're below cap

and if they miss, you lose threat, you lose the boss

basically, get capped

all imo, idk
