preface: our raid leader was not online tonight, at first no one knew when he would be on, but the officers assumed it would be fairly soon, thus we decide to go clear out ulduar for gearzz for new people

we are pulling normal mode freya (which ignites the progression vs farming debate in peoples brains, a little bit in raid chat, but nothing significant), she dies after one pull, all and good, its normal mode

moving on to mimiron, again, easy mode, nobody wants to pull that hard mode anyway

heading to vezax, i think we wiped on trash once or twice

we have i think 4 melee dps that need voldrethar and at least a handful of casters who need the trinket, more than any other ulduar HM by far, its becoming apparent to the officers that nobody really knows when our raid leader is coming on, so we have time to kill in ulduar, we decide to pull vezax hard mode

first pull is terribad, with our normal raid leader not here, imal is leading the raid sweetly (as opposed to pissed yelling at raid etc), about 10 people had never been with us for hard mode vezax thanks to rapid recruitment, so many people getting hit by shadow crash, but it was still very stable with the overgeared healing, had too many people die in animus phase though so thats a wipe

pulling twins right now, rest of post to be posted later

we are a little heavy on healers with all of us overgearing vezax's mediocre damage on TOC geared tanks, we have dropped down 1 or 2 healers, the resto druid which is the subject of this thread is going moonkin

second pull is a little better, less people being hit by crash but still some, it becomes painfully apparent to me (and im sure some other people as well) that this resto druid turned moonkin is doing very shitty, letting it slide, melee failed the kicking, we wiped

k now the new people are knowledged and experienced to the strat, the veterans are refreshed on how to perform, here comes third pull, this should be a kill, even with the astronomical fail of the last 2 pulls we managed to get him nearly dead

third pull ends up shaky, we get to the animus phase, some mage killed 4 ranged with life leech, time is running out in the raid time

after running back, officers decide that we should do it normal mode so we can clear ulduar and get to TOC with some time for twins, again with the progression vs farm debate, this time its a bit more apparent

i brought it up that we had a dozen people who needed vezax HM loot, giving up after 3 pulls so we could do normal and yogg was illogical, it was a better use of time to get 2 more pulls on vezax and wipe then go to toc, as opposed to clearing vezax and yogg on normal mode (vezax hm > vezax + yogg normal)
