datamined issue thus far is such

there is a place in the icecrown raid with a runeforge, proalbey after x amount of bosses such as the archivum in ulduar was

once your raid has been there (there might be some quest to pick up there, or there might be some quest from outside to explore that area)

a quest becomes available from darion mograine (leader of the ashen verdict) for warriors, paladins, death knights who have friendly reputation with the raid faction

that quest sends you to recover arthas's old hammer in the raid somewhere (i dont know where it would be, considering he left it way out in the middle of nowhere in northrend after he took up frostmourne, somewhere in borean tundra/dragonblight, lollore)

after you have found arthas's old hammer in the raid, you need to collect blood from the two abominations (meaning the hammer will proalbey be before the construct wing, which is early in the instance), and 25 primordial saronite (this is like 25 crusader orbs, which will be the choke for a single individual who is trying to get the weapon)

after you have killed the two aboms and gotten the 25 orbs, you turn in the quest and get the 264 epic axe weapon which is the OP of this thread

the next quest requires you to kill 1000 of the lich kings creatures to feed souls to your shadow's edge
you can do that in 10 and 25 man and each trash mob + boss counts as 1 (i believe)

after collecting the souls, you need 60 chips of the frozen throne which are "scattered throughout the raid" in 25 man only, they might be items on the ground, they might be from boss kills, dont know, but you need 60 of them (this is what presents the challenge for competing individuals in the same raid group to both collect mats for axes)

after that, you get shadowmourne

tl;dr

you are a dps war/pally/dk
your guild gets to the runeforge in icecrown (wherever it may be)
your guild kills festergut and rotface (the first two bosses in the second corridor, wont be accessible for a few weeks after 3.3 launch)
you get friendly rep with ashen verdict (farming the first 4 bosses and trash until fest/rot are unlocked will have you friendly)
you pay 25 primordial saronite (can be bought with badges, dropped by bosses, etc) for an awesome 264 epic axe
you accept quest to kill 1000 mobs in ICC (10 man and 25 man count)
you accept quest to collect 60 fragments of the throne from 25 man raid somehow
you get shadowmourne

there might be another criteria at the beginning for RNG's sake, but its unclear

if my post is accurate, i would assume every DPS worth their salt will be buying all the primordial saronite from alt's and non-raiders and such collecting frost emblems

it doesnt seem theres anything stopping all 4-5 of the applicable classes you have to get their own 25 saronite, and all be working on the 1000 kills at the same time, so when you get to the throne fragments, you can have a backup person if the main guy is out

although it may be possible that only 1 person can claim the souls of the icecrown mobs, in which case you would have to split off and do a 10 man where you were the designated person claiming souls where crabmaster or whoever did his own 10 man with the guild

either way, its in your best interest to be in the market for primordial saronite, ASAP
