such a beastly weapon NEVER will be worthy of dual-wielding with a lesser piece in the other hand

Death knights and Paladins do not benefit nearly enough from weapon damage and armor pen as warriors

Blood DK's do, shut the fuck up

you get the same amount of runic power whether you are using shadowmourne or a titansteel destroyer, confirm/deny?
runic power accounts for x% of your dps?
warriors do lots of white damage, get rage from white damage only

not trying to be personal about it, but arms warriors simply benefit so much more from strictly a weapon than the other classes

with the str and crit i would take it dunt care bout armor pen

heart strike = 50% weapon damage with a bunch of disease damage
plague strike = 50% weapon damage with a bunch of disease damage

death strike = 75% weapon damage

i hope that theres some opening quest that warriors/dk/pally can simply elect to do, then, upon doing whatever normal mode drops the seed item (saurfang would make the most sense) that it guarantees the axe to drop (just one)

then the gathering quest is for one person only

although that proalbay wont be the case, it will be a random % drop from the boss that drops it, some guilds will go 3 months without seeing one while other guilds are completing the legendary and working on the second/third/fourth/fifth one

also; it mentions the blood of yogg-saron

i hope you have to go back into ulduar and kill zero light yogg as part of the quest to forge it

and i really dont understand how it can fit the lore of this axe is being crafted as a rival to frostmourne to be able to kill arthas

if you have to kill arthas to unlock hard modes to get it

my assumption would be hard mode sindragosa (last boss before arthas, sapphiron of icecrown) will be the final spot to complete shadowmourne

but who knows, maybe they will make it so casual that you dont actually have to do current hard modes to get it, it just takes lots and lots of grindan normal modes / orbs dropped / quest items dropped (blizzard would do this and not think twice about it)

There will be a Frostwyrms up for grabs for Icecrown raiders, achievable in a similar way to previous rewards such as the Ulduar proto-drake.
