Height : 6'0"
Weight : 285

Starting to get seriously scared about weight and doing something about it now. Was like 260 last time I weighed myself and haven't noticed the physical change of 25lbs added on, so mentally panicing. Overweight probably purely out of being around on the computer and 1 poor meal a day. Hardly eat now, but do consume a good amount of beer/liquor to add onto that bad meal.

Plan is now worked on with John, as much as he can help me without knowing more.

Beginning cardio involves baby steps. M/W/F - 30 minutes of faster paced walking, Highest incline at forced 3mph speed on home treadmill.
Will change after 1 month.

Per Meal i'm at a 42/42/9g split of protein/carbs/fat

Allowed Proteins are : eggs, chicken, milk, soy, fish, cottage cheese
Allowed Carbs are a: fruid, Green vegetables
Allowed fats outside of those : EVOO, Coconut Oil
Minimum : 1 gallon of water per day

No starches are allowed :/ (I love rice)

Will be adding to this once I have other stuff figured out. No clue yet how i want to balance out 417 calories a meal and now eat 6 meals a day.

if you are serious about it, then you should keep your alcohol consumption to the absolut minimum
to come back in shape is hard in the beginning, but after first few weeks you'll love to train
good luck and remember: do not leave anything for tomorrow
being lazy is the worse thing you can do for yourself

First day excercise was n1, was like a mental high when done.

That cockiness at about 4 minutes in sure shut the fuck up by about 21 minutes. and at 29 i wanted at least another 10 minutes, but let the ego subside and stop.

Grilled up chicken and green peppers for lunch today, got breakfast done and the 10 am snack on the go for me.

Gonna log my plan and stuff when i get home from school, but day 1, without any of the prep done, looks to be 100% gtg.

edit : calves on fire, feels sexcellent, first snack at 10 am, done, drank 2 bottles of water already. brb piss.

Been planning out my food guide over the past day now and almost looks pretty set, just working out a few minor details, such as not having anything in this house to do, but been keeping a forced eating thing on so far.

like having an apple as a snack but no peanut butter with it since we have none (dont get how we dont) for the protein/fat content, and no greens here outside some broccoli.

Mom gets back today and will force some help out of her about stocking the house with what I hope to use as a diet, since she was like the main supporter of getting all the junk shit outta the house in the first place, but dad wont let her sadly.

Ez'd. Tottally have the mental attitude working with me on this 100% and just feel like im doing better already.

The forced eating is already going easier and im getting hungrier around the 3 hour marks already. Feel better drinking pure water/milk instead of soda too.

Havent felt tired at 4 pm all week.

Good luck, will check back at the end of April to see if you've kept this up.

I've still yet to stick to any work out routine.

good goal ofc, though i am morally opposed to doing the extreme with a diet. i have personally cut out all fast food, make a point to eat fruit for breakfast, eating less red meat and more chicken (though there is no substitute to a bloody red steak) and having more vegetables. i just cant do the whole scripted diet although i do realize it will expedite any changes one may want. throw in some morning runs with the choice to walk to places close enough to walk to instead of driving now that its starting to stop rain here and im down 10 pounds in like 2 weeks :donno:

gl ofc

i havent stuck to the list as crazy as that, and im enjoying what im eating immensly.

Breakfast has been like 2 scrambled eggs, glass of milk, banana

lunch is either pretty hearty salad with vegies i cut up and decide on (love this shit) with a good olive oil / balsamic vinegar or something dressing that i like.

first snack before lunch is usuually almonds/brazilnuts/walnuts mixed. Second snacks been a smoothie after school with yogurt/blueberries/bananas/strawberries that i cut up.

dinners pretty conservative with whatever my mom makes, i just watch my portions and adapt. had sweet potatos as fillers for rice/heavy starch potato.

Mixed it up alot with natural peanutbutter, grapes, apples. broccoli/celery have been pretty big too, along with tossing in grilled chicken and turkey breast wherever i want.

and despite him saying now, i been doing the whole grain / whole wheat bread which i loved already, usually peanut butter and banana sammy there. freaking love it.

So far its been ~14lbs in 3 weeks, which imo, damn good considering how forced inactive i've been. Havent had one soda or cheated myself yet, which is what im more proud of during all this. Most temptation for that stuff is nearly gone.

yea, portions are huge. america is fucked in the head with how much food we think of as a meal. most people are lucky to burn 2k calories a day and a single meal at a restaurant is probably 3/4+ of that. i never drink pop so that is an easy one. generally drink coffee/tea/water/not from concentrate oj and apple juice. making sure i dont drink half a gallon of juice due to the sugar is probably my hardest personal battle.

Not drinking as much booze, having the occasional soda/etc but eating healthier overall with making sandwiches for lunch if im going anywhere or having chicken and shit for dinner rather than eating bullshit

Hardest part is doing this while interning since cop's have the worst eating habits and when you are in a car with them and cannot bring food its difficult

Down roughly 10lbs in the last 2 weeks, and thats with not getting cardio all the time, just lifting at home and cardio if I can get to the gym

Once my internship is over I should be able to get on track easier

but this is your log, so gz

ya im 5 9.

but i am pretty decently strong, and have been working out a lot and playing basketball 4 times a week.

however i havent been eating well, not horribly, but pretty shitty sometimes.

and ive been drinking coffee like a fiend because of finals weeks. but when im home im going to the gym before work + my job invovles lifting boxes 8 hours a day, so im pumped to get back into the swing of things and hopefully get 170lb before next semester
