For bulking up muscle wise, is doing no cardio and just weights ok? because thats what i was advised at the gym and have been doing but some people think otherwise.

I was doing 10 mins PWO(has hard as I could go) I really enjoy that, and I think I'm going to put it back into my workout once a week.( I did the elpit)
Right now...I'm doing early morning cardio when I first get up, on an empty stomach....4 times a week.(walking)
