Basically, in this topic I will talk about everything I am doing to become more healthy and whatever else I feel like talking about.

Jan 23rd, back to college. Smoked lass cigarette.

Jan 25th, first work out. Chest and triceps. Easing into it.

Jan 26th, Back and biceps. Lost most of my strength in my back. Decent workout.

Rugby practice starts in 13 days, should prob do some running so I can get out the obligatory first running experience vomiting from smoking cigarettes.

diet has been going strong, basically not drinking anything but milk/water. eating tuna at least once a day, and eating absolutely no fat foods or fried foods.

played 7v7 rugby today for an hour, my conditioning is very poor but at least I broke the seal. Can't really breathe deep right now. Will do some shoulders and a light leg rehab workout tomorrow before going out.

I'd also add a day of plyos and a day of yoga to your workouts.

so begins the quit timer again, if you dont do it cold turkey and have cheat smokes here and there it does not benefit you in the long run

Ever notice how when you're smashed, everything tend to be the "best I've ever had" kind of deal?

Well, maybe not sex...but other than that.

Then why bother "quitting" honestly. Your health does not really improve as long as you keep smoking, even if it is just once a week...

are you implying i should just keep smoking 10 cigs a day rather than just one a week?

Im not trying to say anything of the sort, but the health benefits associated with quitting smoking and lowering chem levels in your body only occur once you stop smoking, like that 1 cig a week increases your BP, kills the cilia regrowing in lungs and etc etc etc

I am all for grey area's (aka discretion) but this is a Y or N choice overall really

But you should, because to me that sounds like a good selling point for the sport.

texted that girl asked her if she wanted to go get some coffee at the popular place on campus, basically starbucks but has local bands/poetry shit like that.

she said she was busy all day and hates coffee, asked what i was doing this weekend and might come to my friends party.

doubt she will proalbey weak attempt to cushion the blow. at least i gave it a chance, i have 3 other numbers from girls i have met this semester might text one, proalbey not though

thanks, i am forcing myself to at least lift MWF and do 20 min on the bike, cant really use treadmills with my knee problems, tues/thurs rugby practice. saturday rugby game/full contact practice.

when i get into the full swing of things want to lift before practice tues/thurs.

if i can do this for the next 12 weeks, i should be in good shape going into the summer break.

looking long term now, but during the summer hopefully work 32 hours a week, lift 4 days a week and jog 2 days a week. while not picking cigarettes back up with a lot of peer pressure.

going into fall semester/rugby season should be in top shape and ready to fuck up some people.
