When I started, I was famished, I could barely do any of the exercises that involved the muscles.

Triceps primarily access the chest, triceps, and shoulders. They also activate the core. Now depending on you width, you can change them to use more triceps, or more chest.
If you want to be a push up monster - go p90x. If you want pure power over muscular endurance, lift heavy, and keep the reps low.
If you want to no longer be black, bleach your skin.
