you dumb? there are plenty of physical withdrawal symptoms. nicotine creates a chemical dependancy.

How long does nicotine take to completely work it's way out of the body? Thank You very much.
Medically, nicotine takes only 72 to 96 hours to leave the body. However, the physical and mental reverberations can go on for weeks.

I heard it takes 7 years for your lungs to get back to non smoker status. and like 10 for your heart.

i don't think it take so long time to recover, but i don't know for fact
but as the general rule, the younger you are the faster your tissues will recover
now that i think about it, it takes definitively less time, because for body it takes 10 years to completely change every cell in whole skeleton

cardio excersizing (working your lungs) will help clear them out quickest I have read. A Dr. told me they can rebuild themselves in 3-15 yrs depending on the person. Here is a release from the SG. The only way the lungs will NOT rebuild is if you have emphysema
Quote
"How Quickly Do the Benefits of Quitting Start?"
* "Just 20 minutes after your last cigarette, your blood pressure and
pulse rate drop to normal and the body temperature of your hands and
feet increases to normal."
* "A mere 8 hours after your last smoke, the carbon monoxide level
decreases and the oxygen level in your blood increases to normal."
* "Just 24 hours after your last cigarette, you substantially lessen
your chances of having a heart attack."
* "Two days after your last cigarette, you will notice that your
ability to taste and smell is enhanced."
* "Three days later, your breathing should be noticeably better
because your lung capacity will be greater."
* "Your circulation will improve and your lung functioning will
increase up to 30% within two weeks to three months after quitting."
* "Between one month and nine months, the cilia in your lungs will
regenerate, allowing your body to clean your lungs and reduce
infection."
* "One year after quitting, your risk of coronary heart disease is
half that of a smoker."
* "Five years after quitting, your risk of stroke is reduced to that
of a nonsmoker."
* "Ten years after quitting, the lung cancer death rate is about half
that of a continuing smokers. The risk of cancer of the mouth, throat,
esophagus, bladder, kidney and pancreas decreases."
* "Fifteen years after quitting, your risk of coronary heart disease
is that of a nonsmokers.

it bothers me when i find myself with a smoker in small rum with poor ventilation or even worse if he would light a cig there
like in a car
but ppl who smoke outside and go by, they don't bother me at all

coming up on 2 week mark tomorrow...
have had 6 cigs since the new year...
someone gave me a vn weight bench so, fitness routine will be starting when I have gone another 5 days without a smoke...
someone give me a routine that involves treadmill/weight bench/mtn bike (when weather changes) that is focused mainly on keeping weight off and gaining endurance back idc about mass, getting cut up, lifting a house, or devoting my whole life to workingout. My eventual goal is to be able to run 3 miles then 5 miles and be able to pedal the entire trail where I ride my bike. right now i can not run a baseball diamond without almost passing out.
someone mentioned crossfit or a variation of that....after a quick google search someone give me insight on it..looks like a bitch to me and I would not be able to handle it starting off.

Crossfit is mainly done as a competition between people at gyms, honestly if you are just looking to cut weight I would say start walking, doing some light weight work and then go from there...
obligatory lol p90x and beach body insanity

nick does not have addictions
we are weak
but really, i work with a guy who can either smoke half a pack a day or quit right now, no trouble. hes started and stopped like 3 times in the last 4 years. to some its just not as gripping as it is to others. it certainly had me by the balls for a good 14 years, pack a day. quit once for 3 months inbetween there.
its funny though, since this last time i just made up my mind not to quit but that im done, i have not had more than flashing moments that are over before they begin of cravings, which are all mental anyway.

**UPDATE**
So yea no cigs since 4/1 fealing great. Started vaping 2 weeks ago and went from 1.5 - 2 pks a day to 2 packs a week to no cigs at all.
I know I haven't quit nicotine (yet) but have already dropped my nic level from 24mg to 12mg and plan on another drop to 6mg pretty soon.
